We’re delighted to welcome Ulrika Tornerefelt Ulrika Tornerefelt the Board of Wattly Group.
Ulrika joins us as one of the Nordics’ most accomplished builders in energy and sustainable infrastructure. She founded and scaled Stella Futura from start-up to SEK 268m in revenue in four years, becoming a Nordic leader in battery energy storage (BESS) and pioneering the region’s first structured financing vehicle for batteries, as well as being first in Sweden to lease batteries to industrial and commercial customers.
She also founded and chairs Infra Futura, a well-known solar and BESS developer and structured financier in sub-Saharan Africa.
Earlier, she was managing the R&D team at SaltX Technologies, and was part of the management team through its Nasdaq First North IPO, becoming the stock market rocket in 2017.
She led global technology programs within renewable fuels across the Scania–Cummins joint venture as global excellence lead.
In 2024 she was named Sweden’s Power Woman of the Year.
Her track record sits right at the heart of what Wattly does: connecting energy infrastructure with the capital and financing structures that make it real. From battery leasing and tolling contracts to blended finance and Article 6 carbon instruments, Ulrika has spent her career turning complex energy projects into bankable, buildable opportunities across Europe and beyond.
Welcome aboard, Ulrika. Together we’re building a better energy future, for everyone.
